Brandi passante became an overnight celebrity after her appearance on A&E's reality series 'StorageWars. The show also was a part of Jarrod Schulz, Passante's boyfriend of many years and now husband. Storage lockers, which are rented out to tenants who had not paid rent in the last three months, are auctioned off in this reality show. Brandi and Jarrod from the Now and Then thrift store, which is located in Orange California participated in the show to purchase storage units. They had no idea they would turn them into reality celebrities. They were very diplomatic in their bids during the entire show and was one of the most prominent actors. In the aftermath of appearing on the T.V. reality show, they were successful in increasing the size of their store. Their "Storage War" appearances was the catalyst for a spinoff named 'Brandi & Jerrod: The Marriage of a Job,' which focused exclusively on the couple.
